- Church of Stone
The church's masonry is hewn from ajiishi - a precious stone from Kagawa Prefecture. It was built by stacking blocks of stone by hand over a period of three years.
The bell in the 23-m tower is rung after the ceremony to wish for a strong bond between the couple and many years of happiness together.

Church of Forest was built using 700-year-old silver pine trees.
It was a favorite of world-famous composer Leonard Bernstein, who found it to be a healing place.
